Prospects your salespeople add, clients your work is billed to, vendors your bills are paid to – one record per company, tagged for what the relationship actually is. Deals, invoices, projects, and bills all point back here, so a company's name is spelled the same way everywhere and changing it changes it once.

One name adds the company
Then say what it is to you — prospect, client, vendor — and it can be more than one at a time, because plenty of companies buy from you and sell to you in the same year. They are separate switches for that reason, not a dropdown you have to choose between.

Point it at your other systems
One company here can carry its ids in QuickBooks and everywhere else, and you choose which system owns the name. A rename never breaks anything: everything references the record, not the text.

Merge what got duplicated
From the record, with the exact impact spelled out before you commit — how many deals, invoices, contacts and tasks move. Nothing is stranded on the record you retired.
One record per company, however many things it is to you this year.

Not everyone should see our suppliers.
Then they will not. Who can see vendors, and who can add them, are settings — and they are enforced where the data is read, so a vendor-only company is genuinely absent rather than hidden by a screen.
Do we have to buy it separately?
No. Organizations comes with Deals: add it to your workspace once, and everyone who has Deals can use it at no extra charge and no extra seat.
Organizations is one app in Curfew Suite.
Use it on its own for as long as you like. If you ever add another, it shares the same login, the same bill and the same data underneath.
