Time tracking

The week, logged and approved.

Enter time the way it should feel – a clean weekly grid of your projects by day, with a note on every entry that flows straight to the invoice. Submit the week and it routes through your approval chain; approvers see the same grid and approve or return in a click. Billable hours feed Invoicing; utilization feeds bonuses.

What you get

How it works

  1. 1

    The week is one grid

Your projects down the side, seven days across, hours in the cells. It saves as you type, and only the projects you are actually assigned to are offered.

  2. 2

    Say what you did

A note on any cell. It is not for the file — it travels to the invoice, which is why it is worth ten seconds on Tuesday rather than an hour of reconstruction three weeks later.

  3. 3

    Submit it

Up to three approval steps, and each can be a named person, a role, your manager, or the project's manager. A step that resolves to nobody is skipped, so one policy works across a firm where not everyone has a manager.

The note you type on Tuesday is the line your client reads on the invoice.

Common questions

Which day does the week start?

Saturday unless you change it. It is a setting, not a convention we imposed.

Somebody left their week half-finished.

An app admin can open and fix another person's week. It stays their timesheet — the hours are theirs, the edit is attributed to you — because the alternative is people sharing passwords at month end.

What does the approver actually see?

The week, plus the things worth arguing about: hours short of full time, notes too thin to bill, projects running past what was planned for them, and client work marked non-billable.

Use it on its own for as long as you like. If you ever add another, it shares the same login, the same bill and the same data underneath.
