Every engagement, one record.
Set an engagement up once: the client, the currency, the billing terms (T&M rates, fixed-fee schedule, PO, not-to-exceed), and who is staffed on it. Timesheets, expenses, and invoices all read this record, so the numbers agree. Project health and resourcing live on the analytics tab.
Available by request. Start a workspace and ask us for it, and we'll set it up with you and tell you what it costs for a team your size.
What you get
- One record per engagement – client, dates, budget, team
- Billing terms live here; invoices read them (with per-invoice overrides)
- Assignments and a fixed-fee schedule built in
- Health and resourcing analytics as the work runs
How it works
- 1
Answer three questions
Who it is for, whether it is time and materials, fixed fee or non-billable, and how expenses are treated. Those compose the billing model; you never pick one off a list of six.
- 2
Put people on it
Each person carries their own rate and the hours you planned for them — and a start and end date if they join late or leave early, so utilisation is not distorted by a name sitting on a project they are not on yet.
- 3
Watch three signals, not one
How much of the plan is booked, how much of the fee is booked, and how much of the calendar is gone. Comparing them is what separates over-billed from under-billed — a single percentage cannot tell you which one you are.
The project quietly losing money, while there is still a quarter left to fix it.
Common questions
What decides whether a project is healthy?
The budget you set, or the contract value if you have not set one — and one pair of thresholds you control, rather than three definitions in three reports that disagree with each other.
Can I see it per person?
Yes — planned against actual, billable against not, and capacity against an annual target. Money in that view is hidden unless you hold the compensation permission, which is one permission across the whole platform rather than one per report.
What comes with it?
Timesheets, Expenses and Invoicing, at no extra charge. Add them to your workspace once and everyone who has Projects can use them — the hours, the receipts and the invoice are the same engagement, so they are one purchase.
Projects is one app in Curfew Suite.
Use it on its own for as long as you like. If you ever add another, it shares the same login, the same bill and the same data underneath.
