Start a bucket
A name. Not a project, not a workspace — a bucket, for the things that belong together in your head and nowhere else yet.

Empty your head into it
Write the paragraph you would have written on a napkin and it becomes separate items. That is the difference between a list you keep and a list you meant to make.

Give it stages, if it earns them
Each bucket has its own — a shopping list needs two, a launch needs five — and the board, the matrix and the score are three views of the same items rather than three places to keep them.
The list you actually keep, rather than the project plan you abandon.
Common questions
Can I put somebody else's name on an item?
Anyone's. An owner here is just a name, because the person who has to bring the projector usually does not have a Curfew account and should not need one to be on your list.
Is this a project manager?
No, and it would be worse if it were. It is the thing you use before the work is a project — and if it becomes one, Task Manager and Projects are next door.
